Mckenzie had a lot of fun watching the fireworks this year. She especially loved the sparklers. She wanted to do it all by herself. The first sparkler I tried doing with her she didn't want me to help her hold it and kept trying to grab it. She flipped the sparkler like crazy and it flipped a spark up on my sweat shirt and actually burnt a little hole in it. Needless to say she wasn't allowed to hold the sparkler any more, just my arm as I waved it around for her. Maybe next year she will be old enough to do it all by herself.
We are so jealous!!! It's been forever since we've been on a good old mountain horse ride. Wish we lived closer so that we could all ride. Our horses just tend to sit in the corral way too much. Looks like you had a lot of fun!
