I've been wanting to make the hike to the upper and lower lakes for a long time, so on Saturday we finally got brave enough to try it. It was lots of fun, but 14.4 miles is almost too far to go with a 9 month old.
The Lower Lake
We saw 4 different moose on our hike
THE UPPER LAKE
It was such a pretty hike. I just loved it. Everything was still just so green for this time of the year.
I've been wanting to go there! That is a REALLY long ways with a baby. I went 6 miles with Madison the other day with the Relief Society. That was LONG!!
Maybe I will just have to look at your pictures and call it good for this year. Looks like fun. McKenzie is so cute!
Louis and I were married on June 1, 2007 in the Idaho Falls Temple. We have been living in Rexburg ever since and will be here for a few more years until Louis get's his degree at BYU-Idaho. On October 30, 2008 the joy of our life was born, Mckenzie Joy Bean. She keeps us very busy, but we're loving ever minute of it.
How fun!! I can't believe you backpacked Mckenzie, you are tough!!
ReplyDeleteI agree with Tanille - what a toughie and brave girl you are. How fun though!
