My Big Girl

It's been a while since I've last blogged so I decided to blog about Mckenzie. I can't believe how fast she is growing up. The saying that little girls should never be put to bed because they wake up a day older is so true. I swear everyday she is learning something new and growing up so fast. It amazes me how smart they are and how even though they are little they still know exactly what they want. I thought I would post some pictures of some of Mckenzie's favorite things.

Mckenzie absolutely loves Toy Story. It's her all time favorite movie to watch. For Christmas her cousin Nicole gave her this Jessie doll. Mckenzie loves to pull the string on Jessie and hear her talk.

Mckenzie loves all her toys! Her favorite thing is to pull ALL of them out of her bedroom and bring them into the living room!

Mckenzie loves the bean bag chair. She thinks it is hers and gets upset if anyone tries and sit in it.

I don't know why but Mckenzie really loves to sweep the floor. She is constantly playing with the broom. It is a battle to try and sweep the floor any more because she always wants the broom!

Mckenzie has found a new favorite place/hiding spot in our apartment. She loves to hide in the corner behind the recliner chair. If you can't find Mckenzie, especially if she is in trouble, look behind the chair and it's almost a guarantee you'll find her!

Mckenzie is also very obsessed with her blanket. She has tons of blankets, but this one has always been her favorite and she carries it everywhere!!

She also loves her slippers. Everyone in our house has a pair of slippers and if Mckenzie sees that you're not wearing yours she'll bring them to you to put on. She get so mad when Louis is at school and not wearing his slippers. She is constantly picking them up and walking around the apartment calling daddy. When I tell her that he's at school she'll say "oh dad" and then go and put his slippers by the door for him when he gets home.

Another one of Mckenzie's favorite things is the keyboard. She loves to play it and dance while she plays!

Mckenzie also loves her fish. "Fish" was the fourth word she learned to say. She loves to give her fish kisses through the glass on the tank. She also loves to lift the lid and try and catch the fish when mommy is not looking. The other day I caught her lifting the tanks lid up and was trying to drink the water!

Mckenzie also loves chips. She eats them so fast that it is almost a battle to get one yourself. She also loves her daddy so much. There is nothing she loves more the playing with dad. She always wants to go with him and cries whenever she sees him leave for class. She is becoming daddy's little shadow!

Mckenzie is such a joy to have in our life. We are truly blessed to have her as our daughter!
